Will you bill my insurance?

For in-network patients we will courtesy bill insurance on your behalf. I do not bill insurance for out-of-network or for cash-pay services. If you request, I will provide a superbill that you can submit to your insurance carrier for potential reimbursement. I cannot guarantee reimbursement of your cost. All charges are paid at the time of service.

Can I get a same-day appointment?

We request that you schedule 48 hours in advance. Our availability will vary from week to week. Please reach out to us on the contact page or through phone or email to inquire about scheduling your first appointment. Additionally, you can directly schedule through our EMR if you prefer using this link: https://practice.mbpractice.com/OnlineBooking/Index?subdomainName=mind-matters-behavioral-health

Do you charge a no-show fee?

We may charge a no-show fee for missed follow-up appointments. We understand that emergencies and unforeseen events may interfere with your appointment. If late cancellations or rescheduling (less than 24 hours before your appointment time) become habitual, we reserve the right to charge a fee for appointments not cancelled more than 24 hours ahead of your appointment time.

Do you provide services in-person?

I offer both in-person and virtual appointment to accommodate your needs. All virtual consultations are conducted using HIPAA-compliant software, prioritizing your privacy and security. Whether you choose to meet in person or online, we are committed to delivering exceptional care and support. Schedule your appointment today.

What services do you offer?

We offer medication management and psychotherapy services for a wide range of conditions. Our provider specialties include OCD, psychosis, mood disorders, and anxiety.

*Note: We prescribe controlled substances on only a limited basis, under certain conditions. As a general rule we do not prescribe immediate-release benzodiazepines or stimulants.

How long do appointments take?

Initial appointments are scheduled in 60-minute increments and will include a full mental evaluation and focused physical assessment. Follow up medical management appointments are scheduled in 30 minute increments.

What therapeutic modalities do you offer?

Teresa Arnold is a certified clinical anxiety treatment professional who has received additional education in psychotherapy for anxiety disorders and OCD. Her treatment approach for these disorders is based on CBT principles.

Do you provide urgent or emergency services?

While your provider may treat high-acuity conditions, we do not offer emergency or urgent services. If you are experiencing a psychiatric or medical crisis, you are urged to contact an inpatient facility or other high-risk service provider.

*NOTE: If you are actively suicidal or in immediate risk of harm or death, call 911 or 988 (psychiatric emergency line) now.
